Job Summary

Ensure 1st and 2nd level support of all in-house applications in the bank; maintain an uptime of 99% through proactive processes and checks.  All response to user inquiries and issues are logged on Manage Engine and closed within SLA

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure daily check of all test platform

• Provide jobs status report on a weekly basis to team lead EAS.

• Ensure prompt escalation of issues to the vendor TL / 3rd level support

• Ensure 1st & 2nd level support is done before escalation to 3rd level support

• Document Support Incidence that occurs within the unit

• Ensure that all issues/calls handled are logged on Manage Engine

• Ensure closure of calls within agreed SLA

• Track all deployment and configuration changes on production platforms

• Pro-actively identify all security/exceptions on platforms and close

• Close all exceptions / security gaps raised against team before due date

Job requirement

• Should have relevant past experience of managing and supporting applications, the rules of   application management and support. Practical understanding of ITIL is required

• First degree in a recognized Educational Institution


 Knowledge of the Nigeria Banking business processes

 Knowledge of Application that support bank’s processes

 Adequate knowledge of  Oracle and SQL Server Databases

 Adequate Knowledge of Data warehouse and Data Modeling
